Check the service for your travel times
Before reserving parking with a shuttle, read the property's service hours, stated frequency, and terminal instructions. Do not assume every off-airport parking reservation includes the same shuttle service or that a nearby garage is walkable from your terminal.
A listed shuttle interval describes the operator's service information, not a guaranteed journey time. Allow separately for parking, check-in at the facility, waiting, loading luggage, road traffic, and airline check-in. For current official airport transportation information, consult LAX as well as your property's instructions.
- Does the shuttle operate at both your departure and return times?
- Where do you board at the parking facility and at your return terminal?
- Do you need to call the operator after collecting luggage?
- If you need accessible transport or have oversized luggage, has the operator confirmed arrangements?
Have the reservation and entrance instructions ready
Open your confirmation before reaching the driveway. Use the facility's entrance instructions rather than relying only on the street address. Nearby hotels and garages can have adjacent driveways, and the reservation may require a particular entrance or check-in point.
A parking pass helps the staff identify your booking. It does not mean every facility uses automated gates. Follow the property's instructions about pulling a ticket, seeing a cashier, or presenting your confirmation, and keep any ticket you receive for your exit.
Prepare for the pickup after your flight
